Professional Auctioneering & Fundraising Strategy

Every Dollar Should Be Felt.

Giving is not just a moment. It should be a memory.

How It Works

Four Steps.
One Exceptional Event.

01

Consultation

A free 30 to 45 minute call. We learn about your org, your event, and what you're trying to accomplish. You get to ask us anything. No pitch, no pressure.

02

Strategy

We build the auction sequence, write the Fund-A-Need script, develop the run-of-show, and train your bid team. This is where most of the work happens and where most auctioneers don't show up.

03

Event Day

We arrive early, walk the venue, brief your team, and confirm every detail before doors open. Then we take the stage.

04

Debrief

Within two weeks you'll have a written report: total revenue, item performance, Fund-A-Need breakdown, and specific recommendations for next year. Something your board can work from.

Phase 01 — Before the Event

The Work That Wins the Night.

Most events are won or lost in the weeks before the night itself. The auction sequence, the Fund-A-Need script, the volunteer training - that's where the result is decided. We do that work with you, not after you've already built something we have to fix.

Pre-Event

Event Strategy & Consulting

We start by learning your organization, your donors, and what your event has looked like in previous years. Then we build a strategy around what's possible - not a ceiling set by last year's number. Some of our clients double their Fund-A-Need the first year we work together. That's the kind of strategy this is.

  • Auction item review and sequencing advice
  • Fund-A-Need goal-setting and pacing strategy
  • Run-of-show development
  • Timeline and logistics coordination
  • Donor psychology and bidding environment guidance

Pre-Event

Volunteer & Bid Team Training

Your volunteers are the infrastructure of your auction. When they're trained, bids don't get missed, donors don't get confused, and the room stays with you. When they're not, all three happen in the first fifteen minutes. We train your team before the event so none of it does.

  • Bid spotter placement and technique
  • Registration and check-out flow
  • Donor communication scripts
  • Roles and responsibilities briefing

Pre-Event

Fund-A-Need Script & Story Development

The Fund-A-Need, also called a paddle raise or mission moment, is usually the highest-earning segment of the night. It also requires the most preparation. We write the story with you, structure the ask levels, and rehearse the full script before event day. The best Fund-A-Needs look spontaneous. None of them are.

  • Cause story development and narrative arc
  • Giving level architecture
  • Script writing and rehearsal
  • Impact statement coaching

Phase 02 — Day of The Event

We Take the Stage. You Take the Credit.

Your auctioneer is the most visible person in the room all night. What they do with that matters. We arrive early to walk the venue, brief your team, and test every transition. By the time your first guest walks in, we know the room better than most people at the event.

Day Of

Live Auction Calling

A successful fundraising auction isn’t about talking fast — it’s about reading the room, creating momentum, and keeping donors engaged from the first bid to the final paddle raise.
Great auctioneering blends entertainment, strategy, and instinct: knowing when to build energy, when to let a moment land, and how to keep the crowd connected throughout the night.
Our experience allows us to:

  • Read crowd energy and adjust pacing in real time
  • Engage donors through storytelling and entertainment
  • Coordinate seamlessly with bid spotters and event staff
  • Strategically sequence items for maximum momentum
  • Handle tie bids, challenges, and live adjustments smoothly

We’re not fast-talking auctioneers.
We create fundraising experiences that energize rooms, inspire generosity, and leave a lasting impression.

Day Of — Highest Impact

Fund-A-Need
& Paddle Raise

A strategically led Fund-A-Need can generate more revenue than any other part of the event. At one event we facilitated, $105K was raised at the $5,000 paddle level alone. At another, the paddle raise cleared $165K before a single live auction item was called. We use everything we built with you in pre-event planning and deliver it live, adjusted to the energy in the room.

  • Mission story delivery
  • Multi-level ask facilitation
  • Matching gift and challenge integration
  • Real-time adjustment to room energy

Day Of — Add-On

Emcee &
Full Event Hosting

A lot of organizations hire a separate emcee and then wonder why the night feels disjointed. One voice, consistent energy, start to finish - that's the case for keeping it under one roof. We can handle introductions, transitions, speaker cues, award presentations, and program flow alongside the auction.

  • Full program hosting and transitions
  • Speaker and honoree introductions
  • Award and recognition ceremonies
  • Entertainment cuing and crowd management
  • Energy management across the full evening

Phase 03 — After the Event

The Night Ends.
The Work Doesn't.

Most auctioneers are gone by the time the dishes are cleared. Within two weeks, you'll have a written report, a debrief call, and specific recommendations for next year. Not a thank-you note. A document your board can work from.

Post-Event

Post-Event Report & Analysis

The report covers total revenue, item performance, Fund-A-Need giving level breakdown, donor engagement observations, and specific recommendations for next year. It's designed to be shared directly with your board and development team. It's also the document that holds us accountable, which is the point.

  • Total revenue summary and breakdown
  • Item performance analysis
  • Fund-A-Need giving level breakdown
  • Audience engagement observations
  • Recommendations for next year

Why It Matters

Professional vs. Volunteer. The Difference Is Real.

Organizations that work with professional benefit auctioneers raise more. Often 30 to 50% more than the same event run by a volunteer or staff auctioneer. That's not a knock on the volunteers - it's a different job than the one they're trained for. Here's what the difference looks like in practice.

What you get Volunteer People Made
